It's the annual post 4th of July gathering of the dreadlocked tribal masses known as the Oregon Country Fair, an event unlike any other. I'll be leading a kids talent show on one of the stages and that gets me a camping pass for the weekend, food vouchers, some cash and a ticket to one of the great parties ever. So I'll be off the grid until Monday afternoon when I'll return sun baked and stupefied. And off we go.... The weather promises to be sunny, 80 degrees and low humidity. This is why Oregon is the place to be in summer.
