That's right, reader er readers, I have censored myself for the first time on this blog. Had some stuff I was dealing with, and wrote about it, but for once decided to just keep it to myself. I was thinking along the lines of 'If I don't publish this, then maybe it doesn't have to become real, maybe I can get to the next thing without revealing every goddamn thought that goes through my brain. And I think there's something to be said for that approach. Maybe this blog has run its course for now, maybe not.
Cuz I sometimes get in trouble when I over-share, not necessarily on the blog, although there was one incident like that last year, but just in the day to day. In the past two days, I have had the experience of being honest and open and wanting to be straight up with people, and have gotten the feedback that 'it's not your business'. Nothing that can't be gotten past, but it seems to be a theme at this time. 'Keep it to yourself, Glauber'. (I can see Hansen nodding in agreement)
But in the emotional day I had yesterday, I once again reached for the guitar and tried to capture something in music, and what I got was the beginning of the next song, which will be called 'It takes two' I think it's gonna be two songs in one actually, part of it an upbeat minor reggae thing about arguments and stuck patterns in a relationship, and then a surprising key change into a sunnier chorus section that goes like this:
It takes two to build a trust
It takes at least two to love one another
Sunny days or stormy weather
It takes two to get together
Emotions are back on an even keel, the laundry is done, maybe I'll go for a Thai massage, a little food and then play some bass for Apple around 11pm. M will come over after her shift (around 3am) and tomorrow is her day off, our favorite day of the week. Have I mentioned that I really like it over here?
